I am quite frustrated with the directions on installing mysql (and phpmyadmin, by the way) on a Windows XP machine. I finally found the windows version, decompressed, then ran setup only to get "an error occured during the move data process: -103" which is gibberish to me. There are no ways to understand installation for the new php developer, and no way to look up these errors. A fine product and less that satisfactory installation instructions.
