I am running Connector/ODBC 3.51 on windows 2000 profesional. I am also running MySql 4.0. Here is the situation I had: I created a dsn connection; connected and queried to the database just fine. But when I created a dsn-less connection string I got an error: "Can't find odbc driver...". So after of week of researching I had friend duplicate the error and he did. So we decided to uninstall the Connector/ODBC 3.51 and installed the earlier version, Connector/ODBC 2.50. Once we did that the dsn-less connection ran without error. If anyone else has ran into the same problem and has come up with a different solution, Please let me know.
