Maxwait

The MAXWAIT statement specifies the time in seconds a program runs before the system gives the thread a higher priority.

MAXWAIT=value

Parameter:

Value can be in the range from 1 to 255 .
Default: 3
The value is expressed in seconds.
If this entry is not set in your config.sys file, the default value is used.

Tip If PRIORITY=ABSOLUTE the MAXWAIT entry has no effect.
